Pain Education - How it looks

So how does this all look in real life?

Your pain can start when you are not doing anything or when you are doing something unrelated. It can start or be aggravated in some places or situations or when you are anxious or stressed. Pain can start or be aggravated when you have thoughts or are feeling down, or even if you are thinking or talking about your pain. Pain can start or be aggravated by bad or depressed mood, or a feeling that you are not helped. The thoughts, places, people, and times can seem completely random and can set off the pain.

But make no mistake, your pain is real ! Your pain is caused by normal pain response gone bad.

It is time to retrain your nerve pain response system. This may take a long time. Be patient with yourself.
