Other treatments that may help back pain

These are to be used only in addition to exercises:

  • Massage

  • Chiropractor treatments

  • Tai Chi

  • Acupuncture

  • Beginner Yoga. Iyengar, Hatha, Vinyasa are ok but not HOT yoga. Please note, there is risk of worsening from some yoga exercises

  • Back pain apps

  • Mindfulness based stress reduction apps

    Please note, there have been some adverse reports of worsening or new problems with massage, chiropractor manipulation and Yoga.

What is important is to keep moving, and keep a positive attitude that most back pain gets better over time.
